
The Library of Congress, American Memory website full of primary source collections about everything from Advertising to Women's History. In the topic of Presidents (http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/browse/ListSome.php?category=Presidents), there is special collection about the late President Theodore Roosevelt (http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/collections/troosevelt_film/). The site features 104 films, which record Roosevelt’s life events from the Spanish-American War in 1898 to his death in 1919. A bulk of the films are from the Theodore Roosevelt Association Collection, with the remainder from the Paper print collection. The films contain scenes from Roosevelt’s life that influenced him personally as well as the era in which he lived. Included are views of world figures, politicians, monarchs, as well as friends and family of Roosevelt. The site also includes commemorative events up to 1921, silent documentaries accumulated from earlier footage of Roosevelt, by the Theodore Roosevelt Association between 1919 and 1928. As well as, four sound recordings made by Roosevelt for the Edison Company in 1912 stating his political views.
